Warm welcoming, Living room in the hotel rather than lobby, Great restaurant, Nice room condition. The view over the window relieves me from the reality. I will go back soon not only for drinking Jacques selosse but also comfortible stay:)

After a number of years last month we were finally able to return to France. We took a side trip from Paris to Champagne region to revisit where I once worked some 50 years ago- les vendanges. Upon our return my wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at Hotel Restaurant Les Avisés and enjoy a wonderful dinner, grace à Stéphane and Nathalie Rossillon. The dinner was magical. The ambiance, elegance and generosity of the hotel-restaurant and staff were exceptional. Many thanks to Félix for his warm reception and to Anselme for the truly wonderful conversation about various Champagne and California soil types. A true voyage de rêve, we look forward to returning in 2024!

The only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice to have some music playing low in the dining room and lounge. The lights are awfully bright in those rooms and the silence of the room is a bit awkward when there are a few different groups. It would feel more like a "lounge" with a little music and lower lighting. The food was outstanding! The rooms are lovely and the service is impeccable. It would also be nice if there was a way to book your spa on-line.||

We stayed at hotel which was very nice apart from bathroom flooding every time we had a shower and it was not fixed in spite of informing the hotel reception 3 times.||However the most disappointing part was the restaurant. Firstly the wine list is completely inaccessible 3814 wines on an iPad not searchable by anything other than region. The Sommelier offered to help but then showed us wines from Sancerre telling us they were Chenin. I have since discussed the list with 3 senior (very senior) professionals in the Wine industry who have dined there and all agree the approach doesn’t work well. We got passed that and asked the Somm tp pair using wine from the glass. The result was less than spectacular. He was grumpy and unhelpful for the rest of the evening . The pairing of the Couteau Champagne Blanc clashed horribly with the Tomato course and his claimed pairing of Saumur Cab Franc was with with veal however we weren’t having veal (it was on the other tasting menu)he had got them mixed up !, The meal did have some great highlights. The tomato course was delicious but too much was really a meal in itself. The red mullet was very disappointing the overpowering flavour of the fish was not matched by the sauce or accompaniments. Even our waiter said yes the fish was not well liked and he didn’t enjoy it||The waiter rushed through the cheese and we asked for a tasting of 4 cheeses gave us two and walked away||The Chef very kindly came to all tables asking how each enjoyed it. When we gave our honest feedback he said he didn’t speak much English and disappeared very quickly presumably back to the kitchen||||Staff were efficient but a bit closed and not very interactive. Maybe we just had a bad night but for us it was a great disappointment and a very costly one

Cuisine de qualité avec bons produits frais. Nous nous sommes régalés Le chef ainsi que personnel sont très aimables et sympathiques.

Tout a été parfait, l'accueil, le service, le repas et le champagne !!!

Concernant le restaurant, l'accueil est glacial... J'ai un moment cru que j'allais devoir donner une caution pour pouvoir être installé en salle. Nous étions invités via une carte cadeau de nos enfants, mais ça ne veut pas dire que nous n'avons pas les moyens de nous offrir les boissons...
Concernant la cuisine, j'adore le concept un menu unique. Mais il nous manqué le choix des vins au verre. Un seul Champagne, un vin blanc ( franchement pas terrible) et du coup je me suis passé du vin rouge. Nous étions deux et mon épouse ne boit pas de vin, donc une bouteille ou demi bouteille me semblait trop.
Notre serveuse était au top.

In a beautiful room, I had a comfortable healing time while looking at the beautiful garden. I felt happy throughout my stay due to the kindness of the staff. The food in the restaurant was great, and the breakfast also helped us get off to a great start to the morning

This is a beautiful and comfortabe hotel with excellent service. The rooms are large and furnished with an eclectic mix of interesting furniture. The restaurant has absolutely delicious food servred with care and good cheer - and, of course, an amazing wine list. Very highest recommendation.
